1 week before holiday
- review Holiday Checklist
- make your shopping list and head to the store
- thaw turkey
Day before holiday
- set the adults’ and kids’ tables
- assemble serving utensils, dishes and platters
- make cranberry sauce and keep refrigerated
Day of holiday
- put the turkey in the oven
- assemble appetizers such as veggies and dip or cheese and crackers
- while turkey is cooking, make stuffing and side dishes
- remove turkey from the oven and let rest while you make the gravy
- carve turkey
