Fluffy Orange Cake

What You Need

1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
1 cup orange juice
3/4 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
3 eggs
1/4 cup poppy seed
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar

Make It!

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients except powdered sugar with electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes.
Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan or 12-cup fluted tube pan.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.

Substitute
Prepare as directed, using MIRACLE WHIP Light Dressing.
Fluffy Orange Sheet Cake
Prepare batter as directed; pour into greased and floured 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving. Makes 12 servings.
Fluffy Orange Layer Cake
Omit powdered sugar. Prepare batter as directed. Pour evenly into 2 greased and floured 8- or 9-inch round cake pans. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool cake layers in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. Fill and frost with your favorite frosting.
