2 lb. red potatoes (unpeeled), quartered
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup MIRACLE WHIP Light Dressing
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
Place potatoes in large saucepan. Add enough water to completely cover potatoes. Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium. Cook 20 min. or until potatoes are tender.
Drain potatoes; return to saucepan.
Add remaining ingredients; mash until light and fluffy.
Substitute 1 to 2 cloves minced garlic for the garlic powder.
Variation - Bacon and Cheddar Mashed Potatoes
Prepare as directed, using Idaho potatoes. Stir in 6 slices cooked and crumbled OSCAR MAYER Bacon and 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese.
